Trisha & Sam's Micro Wedding

After a tremendous amount of Covid disruption, Trisha and Sam finally tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Colchester Town Hall and it was an honour to be there to capture some wonderful memories for them.

As has been the case for so many, after two postponed wedding dates came and went, Sam and Trisha decided not to wait any longer, delaying their larger scale celebrations until a hopefully Covid-safe 2023 and opting to get the legal ceremony completed and rings on fingers before another year passed.

Trisha and Sam were quite casual and relaxed about the occassion but made an effortlessly beautiful couple who clearly couldn't wait to be husband and wife. Despite the weather forecast, the rain held off and they arrived for an intimate ceremony which was made incredibly special by the presence of both of the couple's beautiful Nans as witnesses, who were able to share their exchanging of vows and throw a little confetti to mark the occassion.

Having been able to get to know Trisha and Sam, I felt completely welcome and at ease which was particularly important on this occasion with the wedding party consisting of only 4 people! The modest numbers combined with the strict Covid restrictions made it rather tricky to capture the candid photographs I love so much, but, I enjoy a challenge and I was really happy with images - see what you think!
