Something Blue...

A wedding doesn't have to be extravagant or 'break the bank' to be perfect. As beautiful bride Sam showed, it can be done in perfect style without costing the earth.

Every wedding I attend is so different and it's the individual couple's approach and style which helps me to get a new take on a venue every time I visit. Some couples go all out - and quite rightly so for their special day! But a wedding doesn't have to be extravagant or 'break the bank' to be perfect. As beautiful bride Sam showed, it can be done in style without costing the earth.

Sam and Matt chose a simple registry office ceremony for their marriage and Brentwood Town Hall, with it's feature staircase and grand entrance, is a lovely setting and a great backdrop for photographs.

The overall theme of the wedding was perfectly simple and with Sam's quirky style and attention to detail, their day was beautifully unique and in Sam's own words; '...the most perfect day for us.'

Her pale blue tulle, embroidered dress from online store Ever-Pretty was stunning, with floaty capped sleeves and a gorgeous plunging V-neck which showed off her best assets beautifully. Touches of blue in her structured hair design by Marlee and elegant bouquet by From Me To You Florist tied everything together. Sam did her own flawless make up and fabulous, pink, peep-toe, floral heels completed her look which was complimented by the boys' navy outfits from H&M and Matt's Jacamo suit.

This thoughtful and relaxed wedding was a joy to photograph. So many simple moments of joy and love, no fuss, just a loving family who are now 'officially' joined together.

Ceremony only coverage is a great option if you are looking to capture some special memories before you head off to celebrate; whether it be a garden party at home like Sam & Matt, a venue reception or just a few drinks down the pub. The most important thing is to do it your way and have the perfect day for you.
