'Add a catchy title for my wedding blog', my screen tells me!
Well I thought I had a catchy title - 'Winter Sun' - until I realised that November is of course not actually a winter month. I guess, (unfortunately), the seasons are pretty confusing these days and when, on a November day, the sun is shining and the bride walks through the grounds of her wedding venue, with no coat and no goose bumps, it's still quite a surprise!
I was thrilled to be asked to be a part of Sophie & Conor's wedding, particularly after photographing Sophie's sister's wedding a few years previously. It is so lovely to see families again, with new additions and toddlers now commanding their younger siblings and an honour to witness the continuation of a family story. I couldn't have been happier when the sun shone for them and it felt like a spring day.
Sophie stunned at her Autumn wedding, in an elegant cap-sleeved white gown with a beautifully simple white bouquet and forest green as her accent colour. Groom Conor, in classic grey, just about made it into the photographs (he is very tall!) and couldn't have looked more proud to see all of his beautiful girls walking down the aisle. A gorgeous family making their most precious bond official, surrounded by loved ones. Just what weddings are all about.
I'm not going into any more detail in this blog post so will simply let the slideshow tell the story of their wonderful day.
